New paper on goat PrP polymorphisms association

A new publication is out by Goldmann et al. in Veterinary Research that originated from this project on "the association of goat PrP polymorphisms with decreased scrapie susceptibility in UK goat breeds". A collaborative study with contributors from the UK, Mexico, and NL. The paper describes/supports the association of Met142 with decreased susceptibility to scrapie in goats and the suppresive effect of Ser127 on the clinical expression of disease.
